Ingredients
- 2 rump steaks, chopped into bites
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic granules
- Pinch of salt & pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (for the butter)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Chopped chives
- 200 g tenderstem broccoli
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 garlic clove, minced (for the mash)
- Splash of milk
- 1 tbsp parmesan per serving
Instructions

Boil the potatoes until soft, then mash with a splash of milk, the minced garlic and the parmesan. Season to taste and keep warm.

Fry the tenderstem broccoli in a hot pan with a little oil until lightly charred and tender-crisp, then set aside.

Season the steak bites with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic granules, salt and pepper. Sear in a hot pan until browned on all sides.

Add the butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and the extra Cajun seasoning. Baste the steak bites with the foaming Cajun butter until glossy.

Serve the steak bites over the parmesan mash with the broccoli on the side, drizzled with the pan butter and sprinkled with chives.
